It all started with a visit to a cat show where I saw a huge cream boy and decided that was what I wanted. Hence, we took on Wintapi Captain Pugwash. He progressed to Grand International Premier Wintapi Captain Pugwash and we adored each other.

He won so many shows that I was hooked. I was then put in touch with Mary Davis of Hunmar fame. What a wonderful lady. She was always at the end of the telephone. We enjoyed several years of friendship and she guided me through so many problems, including my transition into the GCCF.

I truly owe so much to Mary’s guidance and she is always sorely missed.

So much help and advice over the years has been needed and gracefully given by Mary Davis, Faith Bowman, Caroline Prout and Alan Edwards – to name just a few. My husband Trevor has been so supportive and long-suffering in building cattery pens, ferrying me to shows so I don’t get lost and helping to deliver kittens when problems arose.
